Early Years
About Me
Toby Mills is a UK based session drummer and drum teacher from Norwich, Norfolk.
His relationship with music and drumming began within his family. He was given the opportunity to learn the drums and interact with a variety of instrumentalists early. This was coupled with specific drum set tuition from Big Band/Jazz drummer Len Wright.
After attending further education in music performance he began touring and performing as a session musician for acts worldwide, from a variety of genres and in a variety of professional settings.
Practice Pays Off
These performances include highlights such as performances at Reading and Leeds festival, Radio1 live performances at the esteemed Maida Vale Studios, touring in support of acts such as Reverend & The Makers, The Enemy and many more.
He also has performed in a professional capacity internationally for a variety of acts and employers. He has operated as a reading pit musician for companies such as, Carnival, Royal Caribbean and more. In the UK he works as a freelance musician for hire.
Today Toby operates from a studio, specialising in drum lessons in Norwich, Norfolk.
